For two decades, Koei’s Dynasty Warriors series has defined the "one-versus-thousand" action genre. While many Western fans fondly remember slashing through hordes on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360, a peculiar, superior black sheep of the family remained trapped in Japan and China: Dynasty Warriors 5 Special (DW5S) .
Manually copy the Movie folder from the patch archive into your DW5S\data directory. Overwrite when prompted. This adds English subtitles to the opening and ending cinematics.
Run SW4S.exe (the launcher). The patch includes a modified launcher with an English interface. Set your resolution, controller (XInput for Xbox controllers is supported), and anti-aliasing.
